Our Board of Directors

Jonathan S. Lock
Jonathan S. Lock is a strategy consultant with Marakon Associates. He has advised a broad range of Global 1000 clients including several major pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers. Most recently, Jon was in Switzerland working with the head of strategy of a Swiss Pharmaceutical company to help reorganize the R&D function.

Jon received a BS from Northwestern University in 2001, after three years of study. While at Northwestern he majored in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Biotechnology. Jon was a Ford Dean's Scholar and a Baxter Healthcare scholarship winner.

Jon has volunteered extensively with organizations including the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity and the Chicago Tax Assistance Program.

Patrick Stack
Patrick Stack is a web developer with Slate Magazine, where he serves as the chief technology liaison for the magazine's editorial, advertising and marketing departments. Before Slate, Patrick worked as a web producer with TIME Magazine, where he led production efforts for the 2004 elections, the Iraq war and several Person of the Year issues.

Patrick graduated from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in 2002. This fall he will attend the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and plans to focus on management strategies in the media industry.

Patrick has volunteered his time teaching English conversation at the International Center in New York and tutoring low-income students in the Evanston public school district. He is also a supporter of Catholic Relief Services, Catholic Charities of New York City and the Washington Animal Rescue League.
